About the Journal

SettingsRoan: Applied Journal on Empowerment is an open access scientific journal that publishes theoretical and empirical peer-reviewed articles, which contribute to advancing the understanding of phenomena related to all aspects of community activities. Contributions can adopt a confirmatory (quantitative) or explanatory (especially qualitative) methodological approach. Theoretical essays that enhance the development or expansion of a theoretical approach are also welcome. Roan: Applied Journal on Empowerment selects articles to be published using a double bind system, peer review, following good scientific journal practices. Roan: Applied Journal on Empowerment is published twice a year (Januari-June period and July-December period), following an open access policy. Roan: Applied Journal on Empowerment defends that open access publishing promotes the advancement of scientific knowledge, making it available to everyone.
