Applied journal on Green Engineering (AJEG) is an open access scientific journal that publishes theoretical and empirical peer-reviewed articles, which contribute to advance the understanding of phenomena related with all aspects of applied science, inoovation and technology in engineering (engineering, system, and management) aimed at enhancing productivity. The contributions can adopt confirmatory (quantitative) or explanatory (qualitative) methodological approaches. Theoretical essays and innovation that enhance the building or extension of theoretical approaches are also welcome. AJEG selects the articles to be published with a double bind, peer review system, following the practices of good scholarly journals. AJEG defends that open access publishing fosters the advance of scientific knowledge, making it available to everyone.

ASJC SDGs Deskription
2209: Industrial and Manufacturing Engineering

SDGs: 1, 2, 3, 6, 9, 11, 12

AJEG focuses on developing production and manufacturing systems that are not only sustainable but also improve productivity, inclusivity, and support poverty reduction (SDG 1), food security (SDG 2), and safe, healthy working conditions (SDG 3). Efficient industrial processes contribute to clean water access (SDG 6), infrastructure and innovation (SDG 9), sustainable cities (SDG 11), and responsible consumption and production (SDG 12).
1405: Management of Technology and Innovation

SDGs: 4, 5, 8, 10, 17

AJEG highlights innovation and technology management that drive productivity through gender equality in the tech sector (SDG 5), decent work creation (SDG 8), and inequality reduction (SDG 10) via digitalization and inclusive business models. Promoting tech literacy and vocational education enhances productivity and supports SDG 4. Multistakeholder collaboration for innovation addresses SDG 17.
2301: Environmental Science (miscellaneous)

SDGs: 13, 14, 15

AJEG supports research aimed at environmental protection and productivity enhancement through green technologies and environmental engineering. Studies focus on climate change mitigation and adaptation (SDG 13), marine ecosystem conservation (SDG 14), and terrestrial biodiversity protection (SDG 15), promoting eco-industrial systems that balance environmental and productivity goals.
2201: Engineering (miscellaneous)

SDGs: 7, 16

AJEG embraces interdisciplinary engineering approaches to support the transition to affordable and clean energy (SDG 7) and the advancement of transparent, accountable technologies for strong institutions (SDG 16). Equitable, efficient engineering systems enhance productivity and strengthen public trust in green technology transformation.
